Disney Lorcana was announced to the world at Disney's D23 Expo in 2022 before being released in 2023.  At the event, Disney and Ravensburger introduced seven exclusive promotional cards that would become the very first Lorcana cards ever distributed to the public.  Each card bears a D23 Expo logo and a distinctive "1st" rarity symbol at the bottom.  These are the only Disney Lorcana cards that bear a "1st" symbol.  

The seven cards included a Mickey Mouse - Brave Little Tailor card that was given out at the event for free and a set of six cards that were sold at the event for $50/set (shown to the right).  It is estimated ~2,000 Mickey Mouse cards were given our and ~300 sets were sold per day over three days before supplies ran out.  These estimates have largely been corroborated by grading statistics to date.

Each of the cards also bears a unique "1 TFC" card identifier in the bottom left corner, which is an identifier that was used on test print cards leading up to the release.
